Finally took a stroll to fremantle..
Went on Wednesday.. On children's day.. my only day off this week..
The weather was really bad that day.. but thank God that it did not rain at all when i was walking around..

I took the train down to freo from perth..
Surprisingly, it was really fast..
Bcoz of the Perth's Royal Show being held near clarmount.. haha..
and fremantle line is having a train every 7 mins..
and it was super fast to freo.. took only 35 mins the most??..

Went to walk around, read some heritage related stuff..
As usual, a history lover.. =)
i just love to read about history.. hahahahaha..
u shld see how often i hop on to wikipedia, blog's archives etc..
just to read on history.. especially bout people and places..
it never cease to amaze me how beautiful the past can be..
So that the future is wonderful as it is today..

anyway, gonna post pics that i took that day bah..

This is the fremantle cat.. it's the free bus that is provided by the city of fremantle.. really useful one.. it brings u around fremantle.. it's wheelchair and prams friendly as well.. very convenient..


Walked around.. and took a look at a few landmarks.. i took this picture of a very old church.. it looks classy and vintage to me.. aweome looking..


Hopped onto the Cat again.. this time, i went to the shipwreck and maritime museum.. the oldest shipwreck museum in the entire australia i suppose.. it's an awesome place..


Out-side the museum, saw this big anchor.. haha.. there are like tons of it lying around fremantle.. especially by the coast..

Inside this museum, i've only managed to take a pic of a live exhibit of a real shipwreck leftover.. it shows a part of the ship that was shipwreck a long time ago.. back in the 17th century.. when the dutch was in australia..


Another pic of it.. a really awesome exhibit.. inside the museum, i've read a lot about what happened in australia during the 17th century.. when it was under the dutch.. seriously, a lot of things has indeed happened.. if i didn't rmb wrongly.. after the dutch was here, it was the french.. then finally the british when james cook came and set is foot ashore on australia =)


After i left the museum.. i went and set foot upon a shore.. it used to be a public bathing area during the early 20th century.. a lot of ships were wrecked at this area as well.. due to it's shallow shores..

Can you see the tortoise shape thingy over there??.. haha it's a marine museum.. a very famous one.. i heard that it's a place worth to visit.. they also have a submarine exhibit as well.. totally awesome.. =)
Beautiful aint it??.. hahaha.. but of course if it's sunny, it'll be superb.. I heard that over this shore, in the evening, u'll be able to see the beautiful sunset and sunrise.. i heard that it will all take place within seconds.. how awesome it is.. =) romantice view..


I was feeling rather hungry during my trip after viewing the shore.. right beside it has a few restaurants.. this one is Cicerello's.. it's very popular.. it's claimed to have the best fish and chips in the entire Western Australia.. frankly speaking i think it's really good.. the batter makes it super.. and as well as the fish they used, it's very fresh.. they even have their own fishing boat to fish for their own fishes..



This anchor was situated across the street of cicerello's.. got a few of them.. really HUGE..

Instead of cicerello's i've decided to drop by at kaili's instead.. it's as good as cicerello's.. haaha..Placed my order, sat down and idolised the view outside the restaurant..

Usually, after we place our order, the cashier will issue u a pager.. if ur order is ready, this thing will vibrate and beep..
