hmm.. just to show what i've been cooking in sch nowadays bah.. haha...

First is a plate full of chicken and vegetables which are grilled.. with balsmatic vinegar sauce.. the grill was not very well done.. abit too burnt already..

Second we have a desert.. it's Crepes Au Criton and orange sauce..

hmm.. i feel my presentation for this is not very good.. very messy..


Basmatic fried rice with saffron.. cooked with the most expensive herb in the world.. it's very fattening.. if u know what the ingredients inside are..

it's a shape made of caramel.. haha..

Lastly.. Roast Spatchcock Chicken with Lemon and Thyme Jus lie
I honestly dont really like making this dish.. a very tideous process..
and it only turn out average.. hmm..

In conclusion, i feel that i really need to improve on my presentation.. haha.. i feel what i lack of is messiness and creativity..

having tournament tmr morning.. gotta sleep well.. gd night guys!!!

2 Months has passed since that very day..
Boxing day 2007..
It's something extremely meaningful to me..
It's the day when i really cried out my heart..
It's the day where i really enjoyed the most..
It's the day where i really treasure
It's the day when i told someone how much i love her..

2 months may have pass..
Call me naive or what.. but i really meant whatever i said or did that day..
4 more years.. till that day comes..

ok guys.. i'm back to blog again.. haha..
have already attended 3 full weeks of lessons..
Finally it's time for the 1st exams..
it will be on preparing stocks, sauce and soups as well as knowing how to bone the fish and chicken..
theory will be on working with customers and work mates..
i have confidence in doing my theory well..
but for my practical.. nah.. not confident at all..
i need alot more practice..
it took me frequent practices to get my different cuts right for the vegetables..
I NEED MORE CHICKEN AND FISH TO PRACTICE!!!!

school has been great.. i've met alot of people..
from all walks of life and from all over the world..
i got friends and workmates from china, taiwan, malaysia, indonesia, france, ireland, czech republic, italy, germany, brazil, philippines, korea, japan and many more.. too many to list le.. haha..
and there is just one major thing that i really understand here comparing to singapore.. down here, me being 17 years old, is able to communicate with adults here.. i have classmates from 20 to 40 years of age.. and we can all get along well together..
But in singapore, i dont think it will be as smooth as it is here..

coming to study here, especially in tafe has really opened my eyes..
it brought my thoughts right up to another level..
especially already being in the real thing while studying.. being exposed to the hospitality industry at the same time..
it really showed me what adulthood is like..
what is it like to be an adult..
and it really thought me to treasure everything around me..
i really feel like apologising to everyone around me..
to all my sch mates and teachers both in qihua and in marsiling..
to all my friends from CHC..
it really make me treasure them more..
i really want to tell them how sorry am i..
for being so nonsensical and overdemanding all the time..
sorry for my childishness and sorry for provoking them and hurting them time and again..
i know that it's abit too late to say it now..
but will you all forgive me??

I bet everyone in Singapore has been celebrating Chinese New Year bah.. haha
The past 2 days hasn't been very fun for me,
while you all were eating to get fat, drinking to get drunk and celebrating with all the fun,
I am busy in school having lessons..

On Chinese New Year's Eve, I was having a practical theory with chef bob,
from 12.30pm to 9.30pm..
We cooked a few dishes and me with wendy, kevin, tim, min and rina, who all celebrates new year were eating our food just treating it as a form of reunion dinner..

And today, 1st day of new year,
had theory lessons in sch with chef peter, from 10am to 12 noon..
his lesson was not bad.. learning on how to relate to colleagues and customers..
Den had practical units from 1 to 5pm..

Hmmm, seriously, i don't feel like not celebrating CNY is something missing in my life..
ALso dont know why,
maybe because i've been busy in been in the kitchen everyday for 8 to 10 hours..??
well who knows??

Anyway everyone, take care..
