Semester 1 is finally over =)
everything went on smoothly today at large scale.. =)

i hv nth much to say about this semester..
Just that a chapter of my book titled ben has ended..
A new chapter is about to begin in 3 wks time.. =)
Looking forward to it..
Wonder what's installed for me the upcoming months..
I'm so gonna take on every challenge that is gonna face me =)

6 mths in perth.. so many things has happened since then..
Another 5 and a half more to go..
Soon.. I'll be back..

I miss everyone so much..
Hope that my 2nd semester will go on very smoothly.. =)

2 more days to my birthday.. (with the effect of 27th June)..

Upon talking to her, i came to realised something..
It's like FINALLY i realised it..
It's regarding me and women.. or i can say me having a girlfriend..

I came to realised that i can never be a good enough boyfriend for my girlfriend next time..
She will surely have a lot of insecurity for sure..
Because of the way i socialised bah..
Expecially towards girls..
I often "sweet" talk them just to make them happy..
Do nice things for them to make them feel welcome...
As often as i thought, i felt like that's what a guy should do..
that's how a gentleman should be..
But come to think about it now, i was so wrong..
Extremely wrong..

Now i finally realised that i was more like flirting.. that's what some people feel about me..
But to me, i just only treat it as entertainment..
Being Friendly..
Being a joke to make people happy..
I was so wrong..

I tried to put myself in a girl's shoes..
Thought about it..
If i were a girl and have a boyfriend like myself..
Will i feel secure or not..
I may feel happy bcoz he is doing all these things for me..
Like what some girls always say, i'm a sweet young fellow.. =.="
but.. i will definitely won't feel secure at all..
Because i dont want my boyfriend to be someone like that..
Talking in that manner to other girls..
Sure i'll get jealous...

I still dont understand..
How did i give u security??.. like what u told me last month..
when u suddenly say out so many things about ur feelings..
I just find it weird.. Find it shocking..
Alot of times i want to say that "i'm sorry"
because, i can't be a good boyfriend for you next time..
But, i don't want to say it out already.. den regret it..
I will want to treasure this moment that i have.. as long as i can..
are u willing to give me more time to think about things.. think about us??..

A lesson to learn from i call this post,
Bcoz, it's really a HUGE lesson to learn from..
Simply because, lives are at stake.. Companies are at stake.. That's all
HOW BIG IS THAT??.. EXTREMELY!!!!

Something happened at my sch's restaurant last night..
Just thought of sharing it with people so that we can learn from this mistake that i witness..
Well, everyone do make mistakes right??..
So y not let's take this opportunity and learn from it??..
Especially those people who study hospitality and tourism as well as events..

So here it goes (deeeeeeeep breathe):
Last night, there was this customer who came in for a meal..
She happened to be allergied to peanuts..
I'll be emphasising more later about it... Allergy reactions... =)
so her friend asked the waiter for her that if anything on our food menu contain any nuts..
so she went to the kitchen asked us about it.. apparently, we said yes..
The sticky date pudding has nuts in it..
So entrees and main coures went out already..
Btw, it's a function.. so every single one gets the same food unless special dietary requirements like her..
So dessert time.. and apparently, she had quite a few glasses of wine..
And the waiter placed the plate of sticky date pudding on her table..
so she took a bite, and felt there was nuts..
She got extremely upset over it..

To side track abit on allergy reactions:
Most of these cases are angiodema.. which makes them allergied to something..
So when they eat this thing they are allergied to, they will get a histamine reaction..
and some have to rely on anti-histamine pills to survive..

So what happens during a histamine reaction??
Basically, ur air-pipe area will start to swell.. make u unable to breathe..
Some break into hives itching everywhere..
Eventually, at a later stage (which could be 15 to 20 mins time)
have drastic drop in blood pressure, eventually falling into a coma and die..

Some interesting facts:
Do you know, if u are allergied to peanuts, and if it happened that ur boyfriend/girlfriend just ate nuts and he/she kissed u,
Guess what???..
U WILL DIE FROM IT!!!!!
that's how serious it was..

so to learn from this..
just to take note nxt time if u are working in a hospitality venue..
beware of such people.. especially if they are allergied to something and DRUNK already..
not being fully aware of what's happening or what they are eating..
Just pay special close attention towards it..
Like i said, human lives are at stake.. =)

how this experience of what i witness will be a learning experience for everyone =)

Winter is coming.. and it's gonna be very cold soon.. the nxt few days' temperature are single digits.. I wonder how will it be like during my bdae??..

Today i'll be posting about something that has been in my mind for the past few days..
It's regarding birthdays..
The purpose of it and how to celebrate it..

Suddenly thought of this topic bcoz my birthday is coming.. 29th June if i didnt rmb wrongly -.-"" haha..
It's like in 18 days time..

I've been thinking a lot about this birthday.. haha.. although it's nth special.. just a 17 year old birthday.. yup.. 17 is indeed nothing special at all.. stuck in-between 16 and 18..

My wish for this year??.. hmm.. just decided to post it up here bah.. since so many people around me has been asking me for what i wish for.. so i shall post..

I'm selfish.. i really thought about what i want and what i need.. so just post them here bah.. no harm.. since no one never intended to give me anything from the beginning anyway.. will post them at the bottom of the blog bah..

Just now on my way home, my mum was talking about how we gonna celebrate it this year.. i was like surprised.. bcoz from what i remember throughout my secondary school life, my family or no one around me ever celebrated it for me before..
They are either busy with work, overseas or forgotten..
I'm really disappointed in one person especially, surprisingly, he's my own biological dad..
Most people dont know this, i'm from single parent family..
And the worst thing is, my dad doesn't even know the date i'm born.. even when he does when i was younger, he never keeps his promises.. NEVER..

Even last year.. my sch mates didnt remember.. my juniors didnt remember.. worst thing.. my sports leaders didn't remember as well.. how disappointing is that??.. haix..

So back to my conversation with my mum.. i was surprised like i've said that they are planning to have a celebration this year..
with my new family..
The plan she had was to bring the family out to a japanese restaurant to eat..
At the same time, celebrate her 1st pay check..
As she've promised my younger step brother to take him to japanese restaurant..
But share with u all something.. I REALLY HATE BIRTHDAY CELEBRATIONS LIKE DINNERS AT BORING RESTAURANTS!!!!!
the main reason is simple.. i cook almost everyday.. and i gotta go and eat at outside something that i've learned in sch or i even cooking better than them??..
Ridiculous eh??..
And what more when u eat already, come out from the other end.. No meaning??..
I always love my birthday celebration to be memorable.. Not like any other simple dinner..
I want to have something that i can keep as a momento.. Something that i like??... Or something that i want??..
Why must it have to be the wishes of someone else and not mine??.. this is nonsense..

Can i just be selfish for this once??..
I personally feel that i've been putting in a lot of effort for this and that already..
Does anyone ever knew the pain i have??..
About birthdays that i wish i had but i can't have??..

I can't be appreciative anymore.. bcoz this day is special to me.. i dont think i want to go on saying anything else already.. Don't want to spoil my mood or my reader's one as well..

- Shades aka sunglasses.. really need one.. to people who don't know.. australia is as good as no O-zone layer already.. totally destroyed.. and the sun, piercing.. my eyes has been experiencing discomfort the past few weeks expecially.. cold plus that kind of monsterous sunlight.. what more??..

Tues, i had 2 students.. they are high sch students..
They are so interesting lah.. hahahahaha.. well, at least they love my class =)

Wednesday was as usual.. MEAT SKILLS class with chef Fielding..
This time we did forequarter of a lamb.. it's HUGE!!!
i've got a really crappy piece... it's already old..
Didn't really like the process of cutting it.. it was like freaking 4 hours long to get it all done..
Really disgusting especially if u dont eat lamb.. bcoz it has this smelly smell.. =(

Don't they look good.. they tasted really yummy.. it's best if eaten medium rare.. but i love it medium well.. hahaha..

The answer is Kangaroo meat.. hahahaha.. it seems weird that australia sells kangaroo meat.. eating their own national icon.. it's like imagine singaporeans eating lion?.. Malaysians eating tigers and americans eating eagles.. LOL.. weird eh.. =.="

Onto friday's class.. haha.. Large scale kitchen with Jean Mahe.. hahaha.. my favourite..
My team leader Alan wasn't around.. so i gotta manage the dessert section in his place..
Finally, the last day of buffet menu has arrived.. 3 more wks of banquet function menu and it's time to say good bye to all our sem 2 students.. and it means i'm a 2nd sem student already =)

My multi layer fruity pudding looks horrible.. all bcoz chef did not put the gelatine in.. so it can't really set.. =.= and he blames me for it =( bad eh.. hahaha.. but in the end, it ended up with a beautiful abstract.. hahaha.. phew.. thank God i turn things round just in time.. =) didnt take a pic of all the desserts i've made.. i was too busy man.. hehehe.

Took my anitpasto plate out.. offered some students in the restaurant to eat and try.. in the end, after just 3 mins of stepping into the restaurant, i came back like this.. totally gone =) the students there must be extremely hungry due to Mr Des Lewis's lecture..

Here we have a salad.. i forgotten the name.. haha.. but it had the spanish spicy sausage and scallops on it.. hahaha..

Pork belly.. to be used for Pork Rillets.. LOL.. took a long time to roast them.. it was like 9 freaking pieces like this.. btw, this is one piece only.. =.=!!!

Up nxt here we have a chuck of beef.. which means the back shoulder of a cow.. gotta de-bone this and remove all the usable and unusable trimmings.. calculate profit and loss..

As for my Friday Large-scale kitchen class.. haha.. during dinner break, will always go out with max and roy and bai to karawa.. aka chicken rice place aka waterford plaza.. LOL.. always go there for bubble tea and chicken rice.. CHEAP!!!.. $3.80 only!!!.. haha..

And to end off this post.. this is the current me.. haha.. taken a wk ago i suppose =).. my hair is longer now.. keeping it long for the winter.. before my brain start to freeze.. (haha.. how cold..) i was on skype with yong gao so with the extra ear and mouth piece.. hahahahaha..
