 need someone to talk to?.TALK TO ME!!! Sunday, 1 June 2008 Hmm.. it's been ages since i last blog about my own life.. hahahah.. shall be back to blog bah.. also.. gonna post pics.. to colour up my boring blog (as suggested by nj monster)  To start off with, welcome to Han's Cafe @ Westfield Carousel.. the busiest one in the whole WA i reckon =) i work here inside the kitchen as a kitchen hand, cutting onions, preparing entree..  Here nxt we have Box 3, a cafe under Han's Cafe, Mr Han obviously.. but running by the same boss of Han's cafe.. it's just facing Han's Cafe face to face, staff always walk across when either side happens to be in need of things like alcohol or desserts or coffees..  Here we take a peek into Box 3, where i work as mainly as a waiter..  Cashier/Bar/Coffee making area of box 3.. really busy.. usually it's just one person to run the whole show for the shift of the day.. Up next, will post pics about my school life.. haha.. these are recent pictures.. so enjoy =)  Appertizers and Salads is my current module in school.. just finished with eggs, vegetables and farinacious dishes.. now onto cooking and preparing meat skills as well.. this is an antipasto platter.. contains canapes as well.. looks good mah??.. hahahah..  Take 2!!! Nice?? Chef said he's impressed.. =)  Took my anitpasto plate out.. offered some students in the restaurant to eat and try.. in the end, after just 3 mins of stepping into the restaurant, i came back like this.. totally gone =) the students there must be extremely hungry due to Mr Des Lewis's lecture.. 
 Here we have a salad.. i forgotten the name.. haha.. but it had the spanish spicy sausage and scallops on it.. hahaha.. 
 Pork belly.. to be used for Pork Rillets.. LOL.. took a long time to roast them.. it was like 9 freaking pieces like this.. btw, this is one piece only.. =.=!!!

 Next, Chef Bob took us to look at primary cuts of meat.. hahaha.. down here we have 2 lambs.. which i'll be doing their forequarter the nxt lesson...

 2 big pigs.. primary cut.. ready to be butchered by the meat skills apprentices.. 
 And the same old cheeky me.. I'VE FINALLY FOUND MY DOGGY BONE!!!!.. LOL.. it's a joint of a cow.. LOL.. 
 A tired me at the end of the day.. still in my uniform.. 
 Sian ah.. hahaha.. really need a long break after a long day of class.. =) 
 As for my Friday Large-scale kitchen class.. haha.. during dinner break, will always go out with max and roy and bai to karawa.. aka chicken rice place aka waterford plaza.. LOL.. always go there for bubble tea and chicken rice.. CHEAP!!!.. $3.80 only!!!.. haha.. 
 And to end off this post.. this is the current me.. haha.. taken a wk ago i suppose =).. my hair is longer now.. keeping it long for the winter.. before my brain start to freeze.. (haha.. how cold..) i was on skype with yong gao so with the extra ear and mouth piece.. hahahahaha.. will blog till here.. semester 1 gonna be over soon.. marks my 6 mths in perth which means, my birthday.. hahahaha.. anyway.. take care folks.. june's finally here.. i wonder what's installed for me this mth.. =) |
